Outdoor Immersive Spectacle
Client: Visomnia
Date: 2025
Role: Theatrical Technology Consultant/R&D
Jeff Hull, founder of Visomnia and The Jejeune Institute, came to my company Brilliant Work to bring his vision for a non-traditional outdoor theatrical spectacular to life. The Cortége is a fascinating piece of theater, both an entertaining dance-focused processional and a deep meditation on the collective nature of grief and the paths our society can take through it.
Brilliant Work handled all aspects of physical production, from site logistics to R&D on robotic dogs and large scale puppets to full event production, including pyrotechnics, lighting, scenic builds, costumes, drones, and 1000 wireless audio headsets.
I was specifically deeply involved in helping the creators hone their artistic vision and align it with cutting edge theatrical capabilities, creating something that has never been seen before and that will stick with guests long after the show is over.
